SOMArts Cultural Center takes a field trip to a local firing range to practice marksmanship training with paper targets selected by internationally acclaimed performance, video and installation artist Tony Labat. This project is part of the It's All A Blur exhibition opening at SOMArts on December 9th, 2010 and set to tour the Western States through 2011.
Audience participation in shooting at these targets is necessary to complete the artwork by Tony and then the participant can keep his or her target. Limited seating, so RSVP here to save your seat, get your target, and receive the address of the filirng range.
Gun rental, safety instruction, and lane rental (total cost $50) is not included in ticket price and must be paid by each participant upon arrival at the firing range.
